Superb venue. You need to buy a ticket which is around £7 but you get a drink as part of that so it’s mostly cancelled out. There’s some great food options inside and you can do a bit of a mix and match. When we went there was a well organised quiz on that you can take part by connecting on your phone. You can also order drinks straight to your table by scanning a qr code on the table. Overall, really good night with delicious food and good entertainment that doesn’t break the bank.

We had another great visit to Dockyard Social in Glasgow — easily one of the best street‑food style experiences in the city. Great atmosphere with a perfect balance: lively and vibrant without being overwhelmingly loud. I took my dog with me, he enjoyed people watching. But if your dog is nervy I'd sit this one out. The food is delicious too! I didn't realise there was going to be a charge to get in (£7) but they give you a token to get a drink for it.

This is an interesting place, book and pay a time slot to get in, £7 cost, which gets you a token to redeem for a basic drink (a pint etc). Not sure why they do this or the theory behind it although I noted they do some events (the day we were there was selling vintage football shirts). Lots of tables and was easy to find a seat, your booking doesn’t include any specific table. It was stupidly warm when we arrived as they have big ceiling mounted heaters and it was uncomfortable. Luckily we found a table that was mostly out of the way of the roasting overhead grill lol. It did cool down later
