The Wee Curry Shop is pure Glasgow, warm and bursting with flavour. It’s tucked away near Cowcaddens, easy enough to stroll past, but once you’ve eaten here you’ll be telling folk about it for ages. I was in on Friday with my sister and we loved it right away. It’s cosy, full of character, and the peacock feathers give the place a really lovely, homely feel. We met Tej, the owner and chef, and he was brilliant, dead friendly, and you can tell he and the staff take real pride in every plate that comes out of the kitchen. We went for the Garlic Fish Pakora, Chicken Pakora, Chilli Garlic Chicke

What a restaurant. It may be small with just 40 covers, but it delivers a truly authentic taste. I couldn’t believe the prices either, especially for Glasgow. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great-tasting homemade curry. There are some classics on the menu as well as a few more adventurous options. Fantastic flavour and spice – I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing food, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff! We enjoyed some flavourful curries, one vegetarian with chana mushrooms and tomato, and one with monk fish, both delicious. The lemon rice is amazing! Great menu with everything to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine.
