This is a great pub with super friendly staff- especially Grace and Katie- and a really buzzing atmosphere. We had a lovely meal where everything was beautifully cooked and very tasty. The hake was deliciously creamy, the harissa lamb bursting with flavour and the falafel burger awesome- credit to chefs Mariana and Darren! To cap it all two excellent classic puds- sticky toffee pudding and apple n rhubarb crumble!

So disappointing as had visited previously and the food was excellent( had left a very very positive review) but not this visit. The food was badly cooked had salmon floating in a liquor of soy sauce yuck the vegetables were bland, was awful and then underneath this was a congealed mass which looked like a lump of white lard. It was in fact jasmine rice.I have had sticky rice but honest it did resemble rice at all it was truly awful !!! The staff I felt for because they must have realised by what we left we had a poor service .,God it was truly awful and we will not be returning sadly.

Been wanting to try The Branding Arms for years and years and on Monday me and my wife chose great sunny random day to try. The pub is a bright, warm and very pleasant place to be.The staff we met seemed happy and enjoyed the job. We asked to take photos and they were really cool with it. They also told us the menu will change in 6 weeks time too. We ordered two Signature Burgers. One Rosemary and Parmesan. Cheese cake, brownie. Was a costly adventure but super well worth it. The ingredients were nice and different for the taste. The amount of skin on fries in the cups was plenty and had a lus
