Donner meat and chips with salad. The salad was very poor. No tomatoes or onions just a really rubbish bag salad. Chips were very greasy. This place used to have really nice food but unfortunately it has changed hands and is now rubbish food. £9.00 for the privilege also. Definitely will not use again. Much better to be had in the area.

Really nice food from Royal Fish Bar! The fish was fresh and crispy, chips were spot on, and the portions were proper generous. Service was quick and the staff were really friendly too. Can’t complain at all – definitely one of my go-to chippies now. Highly recommend 👌🐟🍟

I ve just been in here from scotland and tried fish and chips and that’s was absolutely amazing really liked the food and the other thingies called orange chips was amazing as well and lovely staff

I ordered small fish & chips with mushy peas. Was really looking forward to it. Got home & was very disappointed. The thin batter was extremely greasy on the fish. So greasy I had to squeeze the grease out with kitchen roll. Yet I gave up & just binned the lot!! An horrid battered chips. Which I DETEST as they ALWAYS too greasy. If I'd known I was getting horrible battered chips I'd not have tried this fish bar. I definitely wouldn't recommend if you want to enjoy your meal. As my meal went in the bin. A total waste of £8.50. I definitely won't use this place again.
