Ordered takeaway. This has been the only Indian we order from for 12 years. Sadly it didn't hit the mark tonight. The naan bread was stodgy and thick, didn't have that authentic taste or sweetness it usually has. I always order a balti with chicken and it was awful. I only can manage half, but usually keep dipping my naan into the leftovers, but tonight I had to force it down and left half my curry and half my naan. Excellent Indian food restaurant. The building is a former church and the restaurant had made full use of some of the original church architecture features to add to the ambience. Excellent quality food and great atmosphere. Although not the cheapest place for a curry, it's not overly expensive either. I guess you get what you pay for and I feel that the meal I had was good value for money. We are booking again for another meal at the end of this month.

Starters were really nice and service at first was good. Then a large group came and the service dwindled. Waited a while for another drink despite ordering it before the group had ordered theirs. The mains (albeit just chicken tikka massala) were really bland and the chips could have done with another 5 minutes. Then we had quite a long wait for them to bring the bill after asking if we wanted any coffees or desserts. All in all it was okay, but I don't think I'd be in a rush to return unless I was up Hindley way.
