Absolute Fabulous!! Started with olives, bread and oysters. Some of the best oysters I’ve ever had! Whiting nibbles were crispy and fresh! Seafood pasta, scallops and halibut were extremely well done! Alfie the host was friendly and inviting, do not miss this restaurant!! Book way in advance!

Fantastic restaurant! The seafood was absolutely delicious. The oysters I had were divine. I clearly have never had good quality oysters before. Plus the sauces that accompanied them just added to the experience. Every bite was sublime. When it came to the desset, because we couldn't decide between the creme brulee rice pudding (yes, it was warm!) and the passionfruit cheesecake; we had both. Oh my...they tasted so good together! In fact they were so good, we ordered both desserts again! Going to have to make a beeline for this restaurant the next time I'm in Inverness! Thank you River House f

Came to Inverness as part of our road trip through Scotland. So we made reservations at River House around 2 weeks prior (note that we were there in December and a bit off season) and this place did not disappoint. We felt very welcomed from the moment we entered. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. You have to make reservations as the place is small in a good and intimate way and it gets booked fast. And not to mention that the next evening we were walking by the restaurant and the staff recognized us. Highly recommend!
