Every meal I have here is incredible and I’m always excited to go again. Recently went for the Asian inspired theme night and the food was really spectacular. Photos show chilli tofu and daikon salad, chickn spring rolls with smacked cucumber salad, Okonomiyaki (Japanese cabbage pancake), k-dog bites with Korean relish and steamed miso caramel pudding with chai custard. Family lunch; 4 adults, 2 children and Rolo. Completely full after chilli-cheese fries and battered sprouts with horseradish dip. Girlfriend enjoyed the larger Macaroni cheese. My children the tofish and chips with mushy peas. Grandchildren children's portion burger and chips which was huge. Made to feel very welcome from moment we entered and not rushed. Top quality vegan food, my new favourite place to dine in Ipswich.

Hanks is my go to for a vegan snack, tasty lunchtime milkshake or a slap up fancy meal. The BBQ wings are simply one of the best things I have ever eaten. I get them every time 😋 All the burger meals and kebabs are delicious. My girlfriend is Coeliac and we are so reassured by the new owners every time we go. Some of the best gluten free dishes we have both ever come across. Hanks now has a really great value tasty lunchtime menu. The Caesar salad is my go to. The food is absolutely amazing! Everything was so tasty and 100% vegan. We had tempura brocoli, Cauliflower and mushrooms which had so much flavour. We also got Cauliflower Pakoras with curry mayo which was delicious. We got some bbq wings and OMG they were to die for. We've come from Kent and both agreed that when we next visit clacton, we will be heading back over to Hanks in Ipswich. The staff were really lovely and it felt very comfortable dining there.
