I had such a lovely experience at this restaurant in Angel, I can’t recommend it enough! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and it was full of flavor, perfectly balanced, fresh, and super satisfying. You can really tell care goes into the dishes here. The staff were kind and attentive, and Emese in particular went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. It genuinely made the whole experience even better. Also, a huge bonus: it’s dog-friendly. My pup was able to relax while I enjoyed my meal, which is always such a plus. Highly recommend if you’re in the Angel

Matcha Noodles Surprise at Banana Tree Islington I recently visited Banana Tree Islington for the Big Noodle Takeover, and it was such a fun and tasty experience! This spot really delivers bold Asian flavours with generous portions, perfect for sharing with a friend. The matcha coconut curry noodles were a standout. We had the vegan tofu version, and it gave Japanese tamagoyaki vibes: soft, slightly sweet, and so satisfying. Rich, creamy, and unexpectedly delicious, they almost feel like a twist on pasta! Not as busy and didn't have the hectic rumble of other Banana Trees. So the food came quickly and efficiently. Alex our service provider was funny and charming. Had good banter and made good recommendations. The atmosphere was chilled and I wasn't in a rush to eat even with the 90 mins time for the "Bottomless Bowl". I would highly recommend and it's only 5 mins away from Angel station.

This was my first visit here and I would give the food 10/10 especially for the mains. Loved the noodle bowls!! The season's special mango-chicken noodles was amazing and if you like it spicy ask for their homemade sauces. The lychee-martini was the best I had and they do an amazing 2 for 1 cocktail deal throughout the week. They could have done better with the soya eggs as starter by adding some herbs, spring onions and chillies the traditional way but, otherwise the food was fresh and delicious.
