I always enjoy the coffee from High Ground but am sometimes slightly disappointed as well. The espresso is good, smooth and mellow but lacks a bit of flavour and the milk steaming can be a little hit and miss. Sometimes over-steamed and excessively frothy, sometimes under-steamed and lacking structure but usually pretty good. The queue can be a bit slow but, despite the variability, it is always good coffee and the service is friendly. Also, there is a tremendous choice of wines to peruse whilst waiting.

Cute little coffee store that appears to turn into a wine bar in the afternoon. I had the matcha and I found it to be really good, as the matcha flavor was strong. The cinnamon roll was quite good, without it being too sweet. The interior is bright and cute, making it feel very welcoming. That woman who helped us was friendly as well!

Just had coffee there, the service and ambiance are fine. The only thing needs to improve is the pastries. I ordered a pistachio croissant which is absolutely disappointing, the pistachio paste is dilute and bland , as you can see from the picture instead of being vibrant，jewel-like pistachio green, it looks so dull which resonates with the gloomy weather, and hardly tastes nutty. Plus the croissant is soggy not that crunchy. The matcha is ok, I may come back if the pastries are improved.
