We love going to Muffin Break for a lunch whilst we’re out. The cakes and treats are particularly good, whilst their savoury options are also delicious. They do a nice little breakfast selection as well, along with milkshakes and smoothies. Nice little stop whilst in the city centre

I went in on a Monday afternoon so it was relatively quiet with plenty of seating. All of muffin break seems to be accessible for those in wheelchairs. The lady who served me was super friendly and accommodating. One of the only times I've been asked if I needed assistance carrying the tray (I was wearing my sunflower lanyard as always). I got a chocolate chip muffin and a small carton of apple juice. The muffin was big, fresh and filling. The top was slightly crunchy giving way to a soft sponge underneath. The chocolate chips melted in my mouth.

First time I have ever been to Muffin Break. The food I had was fantastic. Spinach and Feta Cheese Tart, and the biggest slice of Fudge Brownie I’ve ever seen! I will be dining there again.

The food, coffee and tea here are genuinely nice, and it’s easy to see why the place is popular. Unfortunately, the customer service really lets it down. On more than one visit, the attitude from staff has felt dismissive and unfriendly, almost as though customers should just be grateful to be there. A busy café can still be polite and welcoming, and popularity shouldn’t be an excuse for poor service. It’s a shame, because the quality of the food and drink is good. But the overall experience is spoiled by the lack of warmth and basic courtesy.
