I absolutely love visiting Gail’s at Elephant & Castle — it’s become one of my favourite go-to coffee spots in the area. I have been a loyal customer of Gail’s for a long time, particularly the Elephant & Castle branch, as I live in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, this branch has consistently provided the worst customer service I have experienced compared to any other Gail’s location. The biggest issue is one member of staff who usually works on the till. She appears to be a manager, as she does not wear an apron or the standard uniform. Misleading and incorrect label of pricing on large display board. Sourdough avocado and salsa verde listed at £2 but at counter was charged £6.90. Take the board down or remove the pricing all together. So you don’t cause embarrassment and start off someone’s day wrong. First and last time I will walk into a Gail’s. Served by Maria at the counter in Gails today.
