Just bought fish chips curry and peas for my parents from this chip shop and it was absolutely awful. Peas were undercooked like bullets, curry was fine, chips were dry but it was the fish which was just inedible. I have no idea what fish it was supposed to be but it definitely not fresh, nor was it cod or haddock. My 85 year old Dad asked for the fish and he described it as ‘revolting’. Hardly any fish inside the batter and the fish that was there was a funny colour. My family has been coming to Rainbow House for years but never again. Very disappointed. Photos attached.

WOW avoid this place! We placed our usual order last night, it arrived missing a condiment. We rang to ask for the condiment, and they sent us one out fair enough! We then found to be missing a side too, but had an additional portion of chips on our bill that we didn’t ask for. I rang again to explain this, and the woman on the phone started shouting at me, calling me a liar amongst other things, stating we got it wrong not her. We always order the same meal; we know the error was on her part AND she’d charged us for food we didn’t ask for. The woman was so intimidating and rude, especially

I have just had a delivery of fish and chips for my elderly mum and the batter was so thick hard and inedible the "" fish was a funny colour and stuck to the batter. Also ordered sweet and sour chicken balls which also had the same thick and inedible batter and the chicken inside so dry banana fritter also came with the same horrible batter not cheap either we ate a few chips then the whole lot went in the bin so disappointing when it's supposed to be a treat as its not cheap . In reply to owner s input below I did ask for lightly battered fish on all food orders
