Ten out of ten! First class service and totally delicious cod and chips. Ordered two cod and chips tonight and two plain sausages and everything was mouth watering, cooked to perfection, with crispy batter on the fresh plump cod and fantastic chips. The fat little sausages were gorgeous, meaty, juicy and succulent. And the price for the whole lot was just £23. We sat watching the waves as we ate the whole lot. The Pakefield Plaice is staffed by its hard working owner and really friendly assistants. And pensioners can get the cod and chips special here at an amazing and affordable price. Polite

I came back for fish and chips where we went when I was a child in the 60s and 70s during stays with my grandparents. The haddock was so fresh, in fact the best I ever had. Chips were crispy. The service was super friendly. If I could give 10 stars I would.
