Went as had heard had a revamp. Just a repaint nothing greatly different. Food was average priced £14 a burger and was bid food lowest prices frozen chips and onion rings small portions. Burger looked McDonnals but did taste good. Would probably walk the 100yrs and pay half for the food at Mcds and buy and extra couple of beers with the saved cash. Bar staff were pleasant waiting staff very average and bare minimum efforts made. Did have real ketchup and mayo on table and it's a busy good pub atmosphere. I came in yesterday to watch the forest game and try out the new menu. The pub was very very busy which was understandable as the sun was out, some people got paid, the forest game was on and they had entertainment on. I ordered the hot honey BBQ pulled pork burger with a side of onion rings and I can honestly say that the food was absolutely amazing! The chef was cancelled Luke he was most helpful. Specially for me, I have celiac disease, gluten free, he totally took care of me and was very careful of what he served. Very attentive and friendly helpful staff.
