Late Red★★★★★Facinating church like design from humble chalk mining. The paintings, and ice holes (dungeons) add to the shear scale experiance. Take time to ask the enthusiastic volenteers lots of questions to fully appriciate this unique mine. Groups up to 70 can be admitted, so you may want to call in advance for a quiet slot. The excellent toilets are accessable and have baby change facillities. The cafe provides drinks and snacks. Although there is an accessable entrance ramp and toilet, the mine can only be accessed down steps.
