David★★First of all great staff in the restaurant! Served by a nice chap probably the manager very pleasant and attentive. We ordered sausage chips and curry sauce and a large seniors haddock chips, bread butter and tea. The sausage (two in a portion) were poor quality better to use McWhinneys the chips were good but on the small side but the curry sauce not our taste. The fish was very poor tasting either on the turn or pollack likely on the turn the batter was good and not overly thick the bread average but with plentiful butter and the tea nice and strong ! All in all a mixed review but attention

About 4 weeks ago, as a party of 3 we called into the restaurant to see if we could get a table.It was 4pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was virtially empty. The waitress was very friendly and service was good. We all had soup and fish & chips from the seniors menu. Both were really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was very good, we all said we enjoyed them and would return. They were good value for money too. The only negative was the lack of atmosphere, maybe some very low level background music,would add someth

Starting with the fact the place was empty on arrival but the tables weren’t cleaned or cleared away and empty vinegar bottles with no salt sat on tables. Once we’d ordered our bread it came out and we had to butter it ourselves. The children’s meal was okay (chicken nuggets, chips and peas) but we were never offered a dessert or ice cream which was included in the meal. We had no service during the meal not even a question of if our meals were okay despite us being the only customers in there. We ordered 2 portions of fish and
