First time here, but recognised the menu from the Rivelin so I knew the food was going to be good. So many things on the menu I fancied, I decided on fish and chips, we also ordered lasagne, chicken Kiev, and hunters chicken. Like many, we were gutted that the Rivelin Hotel closed, but delighted that the people who ran it have found a new home. Went for a family meal Saturday 3nd May 2026. We really enjoyed the food. The braised brisket was excellent one of the party had scampi and another pasta. All dishes were spot on. We had a child who had the child's meal of sausages and mash which was good also. I know the pub is under new ownship and if they carry on with the food and great service it will do well. We will certainly be going again.
