Nice pub to visit with Casta and Boothroyd. On a busy road but you would not know inside. Very peaceful. Large open plan comfortable pub. Has TV's, and also has darts and a pool table. Popular for good home cooked food. There are tables to the front by the road or a rear basic patio by the car park. Four real ales. The boys had Stancill Barnsley Bitter. Excellent pint.

Visited here with a friend this evening for a couple of their pies, we ordered two Moo & Blue (British Beef Steak & Stilton pies) one with mash, & one with mash & minty mushy peas. Both came after around 10-15 mins, served with a small jug of gravy each, and yes - a bottle of Henderson's Relish was within reaching distance as well! The pub itself is really nicely furnished, classic/modern/industrial & comfy arm chairs which aren't too deep. Chunky dark wooden rustic furniture, and a great selection/combination of real ales and commercial lagers and beers on tap - They also have Sky Sports a
