Absolute quality genuine chinese food and very quick, tasty and fresh. No nonsense place, order and eat, simple as that. Sit in and take away both absolutely spot on. Great portions and unbelievably good food, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend the Singapore vermicelli noodles ans salt and chilli spare ribs, oh and a lovely glass of iced lemon tea. Lush!

We usually go in before the game & sit on the stools opposite the Chinese Arch. The food is good & the service super quick. The owner's daughter is helpful when you're trying to figure out the name of the type of dish you're trying to eat! My Chinese friend says their lacquered ducks are fabulous.

First visit to Newcastle's Chinatown. Found it hard to choose as there were lots of places. Chosen this one as I saw a few takeaway delivery drivers so maybe, it was worth a try. The menu was quite large, and found it difficult to choose. Decided on an old classic Cantonese dish called Braised tofu and crispy belly pork over rice. It was okay, nothing special. The tofu was pre fried, so it wasn't as pillowy as I'd expected. The belly pork was just a few pieces and tasted fine. Sadly, it didn't give me that nostalgic experience as I was expecting.
