We stopped for a quick drink and bite to eat. I felt like I had to leave a review after the pleasant experience we had. The food was good - especially the sticky toffee pudding. The atmosphere was comforting and the service was attentive. The waitress serving us, Phoebe, was lovely. I would definitely go again.

Hudson Bar is always a great visit! The service is amazing, the drinks are top quality, and the value is fantastic. Hands down the best margarita in Newcastle, and the 2-for-1 happy hour deal makes it even better. Highly recommend!

Visited yesterday as part of a large group for Xmas lunch. We were delayed by a few people being late however the staff were great. Overall I’d say the food was your usual festive selection. I got prawn cocktail turkey dinner and lemon tart. My turkey was a little dry and cold and the Yorkshire puddings varied from plate to plate. Mine was very soggy. All the veg was nice and the extra gravy was a nice touch. However the best bit was the young lad waiter and chef who rustled up my desert to go as I had to leave. It was so kind of them and I throughly enjoyed it at home later. I’ll probably ret

All the staff were friendly and very attentive with ready smiles. We sat in a booth away from the thump, thump, thump of the bar music. 👍 I'm sure it could be turned down a little.We both had the Roast Chicken Supreme. It was piping hot and the different variety of vegetables made a nice change.We both had the Eton Mess for dessert. A really lovely meal which we both thoroughly enjoyed.
