A lovely family-run restaurant we discovered while visiting South Wales from London. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner was very thoughtful in arranging a spacious table for us as we had a baby. We ordered two starters, two mains, and a homemade tiramisu, which was absolutely delicious—the pasta completely changed my impression of pasta! The owner even treated us to a side dish and kindly offered wine, though we couldn’t accept as we had to drive. Heartfelt food and genuine hospitality—we’ll definitely return when we visit Newport again!

Local restaurant, we came for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Tasty, freshly made food and friendly service, and we even had a chat with the chef at the end of the meal. It’s always nice to put a face to the person cooking for you and to be able to shake their hand. They also have many Italian products for sale, though unfortunately we didn’t have enough cash with us.
