This was a really nice brunch :) the staff are lovely and provided some good menu recommendations. Labaneh with bread was a great appetizer, short rib fatteh was tender with crunchy toppings that paired very well. The French toast was lovely, perfectly crisp on the outside. Whole meal didn't feel heavy at all, felt really good and happy afterwards. The seating can feel quite packed though. Would highly recommend!!!

Akub is a great Palestinian restaurant tucked away in Notting Hill, offering a warm and intimate setting spread across a few floors. The atmosphere feels cozy and thoughtfully put together, making it a lovely spot to settle in for the evening. The food is really good, full of flavour and well executed, and the service is very friendly throughout. An easy place to recommend. Quietly rated: worth stopping.

We visited Akub yesterday as it had been a while we wanted to try it. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide. To start with we ordered their Bread selection - which was fresh and delicious, one of the highlights of the meal. The labneh balls were also tasty. For small dishes we had the Mafghoussa, a courgette dish simple and full of flavour. They did not have the Warak Enab which was extremely disappointing and frankly for a middle eastern restaurant to not have this dish is like going to a sushi place and they tell you they have no tuna sashimi. This was our first time in London and we really wanted to try a good restaurant, this exceeded our expectations. The people were so nice, attentive and always smiling. The food was delicious. So many flavours, great things you can share, very good and versatile options for vegetarians. Every detail about Akub, from the decor, to the food, to the plates and napkins seemed intentional. Sincerely recommend this place:)
