Visited The Dock Café recently and came away really impressed. It’s one of those places that gets the balance just right—welcoming, comfortable, and clearly well run. The atmosphere is lovely, with a relaxed feel that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your time. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or sitting down for a meal, it feels like somewhere you can properly unwind. We had the fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious—really fresh, with a light, crispy batter that wasn’t greasy at all. You can tell the food is prepared with care, and the portion size was generous too.

Huge portion of fish and chips if anything too big for one person. My husband could not believe the portion size of the fish. Unfortunately the picture attached isn't the whole fish as I didn't order anything myself I helped him out with a cheeky fish crispy end. Lovely deep fillet and light batter.

The Dock A real gem. Calm, relaxed atmosphere, genuinely dog-friendly, plus a free car park, which is always a win in Plymouth. The food was exceptional. The salt and pepper squid was hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crisp, delicately seasoned, and incredibly moreish. The lamb was cooked beautifully, tender and expertly seasoned, clearly handled by a kitchen that knows what it’s doing. Lovely place! We went for a breakfast and it did not dissapoint. Eggs and bacon benny was delightful, especially for my first one ever! Full English and classic pancake stack with bacon were good too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, beautiful views of the marina.
