I came here a few weeks ago following my child’s diagnosis of a food intolerance. I was fortunate to have spoke with Lizzy who took the time to ask what my lad was suffering from. Lizzy then took me through the range of food and drinks that would not have a negative effect on him. Greggs should be immensely proud to have such a customer focused individual within their Team. Thanks to Lizzy we make it to Greggs every time we are in Pontypridd and get some treats for my lad.

This is a bigger branch of Greggs which has tables so you can eat and drink there. The food was as you’d expect from Greggs (in my experience, it’s pretty consistent). When we visited it was well staffed behind the counter, unlike some others of their branches.

The food at Greggs always meets expectations and at reasonable prices. Service at this Greggs is always with a smile. Whilst they seemingly serve as efficiently as possible, the queue can sometimes be incredibly long. Whilst quality, price and service is top notch, at the other end of the spectrum is the (almost always) disgusting state of the seating area. Tables, floor and seating are rarely cleaned quickly enough and are strewn with rubbish, leftovers and crumbs. And to be charged extra to sit in such filth is quite frankly a cheek.
