We tried Tomoe for ramen and sushi. The ramen was good and definitely the highlight of the meal. The gyoza were also very good we tried both the meat and the vegetable ones, and they were well cooked, tasty and enjoyable. We ordered a salmon sushi set, and for the price we were expecting something a bit more refined. The sushi didn’t fully meet our expectations: we mainly ordered nigiri, and some of the salmon pieces, especially inside the rolls, were cut quite thick rather than thin slices, which made the overall bite feel a bit heavy and less balanced. An amazing authentic family run Japanese restaurant serving delicious freshly made food.. We had a selection of foods varying from the pickles, mixed tempura, soba soup, salmon sushi and sashimi salad and 2 different desserts, a vanilla ice cream with sake chocolate syrup and a black sesame ice cream with mochi.. All in all were very pleasantly impressed with this friendly place and will be back soon! Highly recommend!
