Brilliant, unique and very friendly shop. Great fresh food( I had a generous bacon butty with tomato). The Warm blackcurrant and liquorice drink was different, refreshing and warming on a cold January day. Also sell the old fashioned sweets from a jar( just like when we we kids. Going to come back very soon.

I visited today for my first sit-down visit ever, and was so pleased with everything about the place. It’s a warm-ish day so I went for sundae, it was well made, great ingredients, served well and tasted amazing. I have bought many of their cordials before as gifts and they have always been well received.

Lovely team, great food, informal and friendly atmosphere and pleasantly busy at lunchtime. It caters to dietary restrictions. The best thing is the history and USP of a temperance bar. It, rightly, celebrates it's history. We're definitely revisiting.
