An absolutely incredible little gem, a cosy Italian and French inspired restaurant where you can genuinely taste the owner’s years of experience in every dish. You can tell he puts his own personal touch into the menu, and it really shows. All of our starters, mains and desserts were fantastic, but a special mention has to go to the bolognaise, which was honestly out of this world, and the lamb shank, which was rich, tender and full of flavour. The Sunday Roasts overall are really good. The gravy is very flavourful and fun to eat. All the meat are pretty well done and well seasoned. The only thing that they could of done better is Yorkshire puddings. I find the Yorkshire puddings a bit burnt. Banoffee waffle: 10/10. Nothing to complain really. The cafe is a bit small but well decorated.

Pleasant Atmosphere with Some Culinary Shortcomings I recently visited Dolce Cafe and must admit that the atmosphere and decor of the place made a positive impression. The overall vibe is pleasant and inviting. The efficient and friendly service is also a plus, as was the quickly served flat white coffee, which was quite good. Unfortunately, the main dish, Eggs Benedict, left something to be desired. The eggs were edible, but I personally prefer a runnier yolk.
