Pionero Lounge is one of my favourite places to visit for food in Rochdale. It’s part of The Loungers chain, and it was their 250th site when it opened in January 2024. The interior is spacious and still feels modern and fresh. There is a small outdoor seating area which is suitable for a nice day. I felt relaxed here and able to take my time to have a nice experience, which I appreciated. There is a large gluten-free menu with a variety of dishes, which can usually be found on the tables. What a fabulous find. Very busy for lunchtime service but the waitress found us a seat in no time. We ordered from the app which was super quick and very easy to do. Less than 5 minutes later our drinks arrived! When our food arrived it was delicious! To say that the chefs must have been really busy was an understatement. Yet our food was pretty much perfect. Highly recommend you drop in for food, well worth it.

Definitely a great addition to Riverside Shopping centre, part of a chain, it is vibrant, modern, with a boutique feel. The layout and ambience offers a chilled and relaxing feel. The staff are friendly, informative , helpful and attentive. The menu is full of delicious snacks and main meals, the full English 😋 is fabulous. I am celiac. I visited this place for the 1st time. On entering i asked the staff about gluten free menus. They pointed out it was a separate menu. After choosing what I wanted. I went to the bar to order. The lady once hearing what I ordered. Asked if I was celiac. When the food arrived. Again the staff asked if I had ordered gluten free. It also had a little red flag. Which I guess was so kitchen staff can tell the difference. The food was very tasty. I highly recommend this place if your celiac.
