💞🙏🏻💞KIND KAIZEN💞 🙏🏻💞 We had a lovely family lunch here on Saturday and we were super impressed ..!! I had the sushi prawn tempura it was so fresh and delicious. The sushi rice was still warm so extra fresh and well presented. My son had the duck pancakes which he absolutely loved. My toddler enjoyed his kids meal with juice and carrots / cuecumber sticks with chicken and chips. The staff were very attentive and kind. The ambience was peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very quaint, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very kind and attentive. However, looking at the menu, it doesn't seem like a typical Japanese restaurant; it looks like a chain restaurant, but with restaurant prices. There are too many chicken and duck dishes on offer, and not enough fish, especially for sushi and rolls. We ordered a generous amount to try as many dishes as possible, and honestly, I didn't find anything particularly exceptional, except for the eggplant.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Kaizen. I chose the wrong restaurant for lunch with my two friends and our two-year-old children. First of all, I would like to say that the young curly-haired waitress was excellent—polite, attentive, and very professional. She was the highlight of our visit. Lovely food. Big menu. Lots of choice. Good value. Beautiful decor. We had salmon & cucumber Maki platter, Bibimbap chicken (which was amazing) and teriyaki Poke bowl. We took our leftovers home as portions were large. Definitely coming again and will try the puddings next time !
