Bear Steps Cafe is a lovely spot set in one of Shrewsbury’s historic areas, full of character as soon as you arrive. The food and service were top notch, had the caesar salad and salmon bagel, both fresh and really tasty. It’s a lively place with great outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying whether it’s raining or sunny, watching the world go by in such a historic setting. Overall, a fantastic café that combines great food, friendly service, and a unique sense of place. Definitely worth a visit.

We stumbled across this beautiful building which is a cafe, can you believe it! And the best bit, we sat outside in the sunshine in December and had the whole place to ourselves! Breakfast dishes and the coffees were very tasty, fresh and enjoyable. Thank you to the staff, our visit was very mucg a highlight of our trip to your lovely city.

Had a lovely day trip to Shrewsbury and stumbled upon this cosy little cafe. The food and coffee were fantastic! I tried their bear steps special quesadilla and also one of the paninis. The panini was so soft and delicious (wish I took a pic to show just how good it was). The indoor space is small but super cosy with about 5 tables, and there's a nice outdoor area perfect for sunny days. The service was great too. Definitely recommend!
