Absolutely dreadful experience at Queen's Head Fishbar. Avoid at all costs! I placed a simple order: two pieces of chicken breast, chips, and a curry sauce. While I was unfortunately distracted by a phone call, they saw fit to exploit the situation and attempted to charge me a staggering £9.05! Best chippy in the Bearwood and Smethwick area . Fish and chips are very nice but at a price. Your paying for quality which I don't mind. The store is clean The staff are very friendly and everyone is welcome. Absolutely awful experience with Queens head fish bar!! I ordered a cheeseburger meal and a veggie burger meal, and NO ONE told me there’s no such thing as a “meal” option. Instead, they charged me separately for chips — £6 for some basic fries — and on top of that, £1 extra for salad in the burger. Seriously? At this point I was already annoyed, but I thought, fine — if the burgers are good, maybe it’s worth it. Well, they weren’t. The cheeseburger was completely undercooked. Absolutely shocking chip shop !!! Very expensive for terrible food the owner thinks he's something special! Hard to find a good chip shop these days. I don't mind paying abit more than other places if the food is worth it! This place charges London prices.. but says that he only gets top quality potatoes and kebab etc.. that's funny because I see the same spud van delivering to Queens kebab house... which I must say is alot cheaper and 100% alot better and fresher!! Avoid this chip shop you have been warned
