I went to Zizzi in St Albans because I had a special offer called “World Cup” that I really couldn’t miss. The offer meant you could get a main meal free if you had an Italian passport, as long as you also bought a drink. Our first visit to this location of the chain. The piece that was most odd is when you enter the Zizi lights are like search lights. You can see people turning away from them because they are ridiculously bright. I understand that it is an odd criticism and yet it has to be said. Bright and then some! Not a great welcome. In my latest visit me, my friends and family visited Zizzi on a quiet November evening and were impressed from the moment we walked in.
