Saw this advertising online you get 3 courses for £9.95. A starter main and dessert for less than a Tenner only on Mondays and Tuesdays. So me and my bf thought we’d come check it out. Really nice place good music and vibes place had lots of people chatting away. You get a good variety to choose from on the starters main and pudding. Once we decided the wait time wasn’t long, staff was so friendly, nice and attentive. Food was good quality and just what we needed on a cold day. It’s very good especially if you’re on a budget Id highly recommend.

Came for a nice Sunday roast, everything appeared to be frozen. Nothing homemade. Veg was soggy like it had been sat in water for many hours. Meat appeared to be a cheap boil in a bag kind. Did not seem at all worth the £13 to £15 with both lamb and beef being disappointing. Staff asked several times if food was okay we said it was alright and a bit disappointing, we were then only asked if we wanted a dessert menu. The taste and look was comparable to a frozen ready meal from Iceland. We will not be returning.

This pub had been run down by previous owners but the new landlady and her team are full of energy and ideas in making this pub the heart of the community! The food and drinks selection are very good and with regular events and activities to engage the community. The change already has been amazing, they are gradually redecorating too. Tuesday is quiz night and shouldn’t be missed! Definitely give it a go! Update- this pub is my favorite! It’s nicely busy with a lovely friendly atmosphere. They are brilliant at hosting your events too and the food is fantastic. The hospitality is flawless. 👌

I visited for the first time over the weekend. I attended one of their local market days which they help support local businesses in the area. I really thought this was a great idea. I think they run every 2nd Saturday of the month. Whilst I attended the market, the food from the venue smelt amazing so I just had to sample the food. Friendly staff, all very happy in themselves which is great to see. Just shows great leadership from the top. Service was good, food of good portion size for the cost.
