I recently visited Kardomah Restaurant with a group and was really impressed. I had the ham and cheese panini, which was very good, and the service was quick. Others ordered jacket potatoes and the small breakfast, and everyone absolutely loved their food. It can get a little crowded inside, but service is fast and well organised. The drinks are great too, especially their own coffee range. I never expected such a busy, lively spot from a small corner restaurant. Overall, a really nice place.

We went for lunch and had a great time. We ordered the day’s special Cawl soup, Chilli con Carne, and a Jacket Potato with Red Thai Chicken Curry. The food was great overall—especially the soup and the jacket potato, which were spot on. The only downside was the Chilli con Carne, which had an overpowering taste of cumin that we didn’t expect. The service was amazing, and overall, the experience was very nice. Looking forward to exploring more dishes from the menu.

We've been meaning to pop in here for a while, today we did. What a surprise in both the size of the place and the old fashioned look. It reminded me of something from an old 60s Michael Cain film. It was fantastic, a real retro vibe. It was like going back to when we were kids but in a good way. It has a mix of older and younger people, and there are so many tables but it doesn't feel cramped or intrusive at all. We only had drinks but the food being bought out around us looked great. It waitress served tables so you just sit at an empty table and they come over after just a few minutes. Serv

Can’t believe it’s taken me almost 35 years to try this place!! What a breakfast! It is a proper cafe in the heart of Swansea. The vibe of the place is amazing, it appears untouched from the 80s but you can tell they have kept it in check, it works so well! The staff are fantastic too! Very helpful and welcome a chat! Will be coming back!
