Best fish & chips I have ever had. Good price and fantastic service. They have perfect chippy chips. Got that crunchy but chewy thing going on with the outside. Hand cut good quality potatoes. Perfect fish too! Very fresh. Big juicy flakes with crunchy non greasy batter. Lovely owner who can tell you everything you want to know about your meal. Worth the visit. I’ll be revisiting.

Love the golden anchor. Lovely fresh fish, the chef owner even showed me the massive cod fillet before he cut off a decent bit, battered and fried ot for me. Great service. It tasted lovely.

Great Gluten free fish and chips served on Wednesday. I’m not gluten intolerant but my wife is. Nevertheless I also ordered gluten free and I can honestly say that I could not tell that it wasn’t the “normal” serving. Extremely tasty and crispy batter. Will be back.!

Absolutely fantastic fish & chips! There’s a great selection of fresh fish, and you can tell the owner treats each fillet with real care and respect. He’s super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. The hygiene is top-notch, the dish is both authentic and delicious, and the price is more than fair. One of the best fish & chips I’ve had in a long time!
