I recently visited Pizza Express in Uxbridge and had a bit of a mixed experience. When we first walked in, there was a strange smell in the restaurant which wasn’t very pleasant and made the atmosphere feel off from the start. Service was a little confusing as well- when we ordered one cocktail that was on offer, the waitress brought us two when we specifically said we didn't want the offer and only wanted one. PizzaExpress is by far my favourite restaurant in London, which is why I’m leaving this review. I genuinely want to keep coming back to the Uxbridge branch and hope to see some improvements in customer service. The restaurant was very well staffed, so this wasn’t an issue of being short-handed. However, many of the waiters appeared inexperienced and quite slow, which unfortunately made the service frustrating at times.
