Very enjoyable afternoon tea. A good selection and of sandwiches and cakes. Sandwiches were served with a nice little salad and crisps. We thoroughly enjoyed the caramelised onion chutney that we both brought a jar to take home with us. The fruit scones were enormous and excellent. The service was excellent and we went extremely stuffed and very happy. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and well looked after

Popular cafe. This is a lovely place to drop in and have a light snack with your tea or coffee. We had sandwiches and the bread was fresh and scrumptious on a cold Sunday morning. My filter coffee came with refills from attentive staff.

The Oken Tea Rooms: Historic Charm and a Fantastic Afternoon Tea We visited The Oken Tea Rooms with the whole family to enjoy their famous Afternoon Tea, and it was a delightful experience. The main attraction is undoubtedly the traditional building that houses the tea room; it transports you to another era and gives the visit a unique charm. We were a large group, which allowed us to order a wide variety of sandwiches and scones, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The quality and freshness of the products were excellent.
