. Absolutely appalling service at Costa when a particular staff member is on shift. I don’t know her name, but she is very recognisable, so management will know who I mean. There’s no greeting, no “thank you,” and no basic customer courtesy. When my wife and I order coffees, we politely ask for our glasses to be warmed first with hot water, which is a reasonable request. Instead of a simple yes or no, she doesn’t respond at all and pulls an extremely unpleasant facial expression. That attitude alone makes customers feel unwelcome.
