I only chose to eat at Brewers Fayre Widnes because it was directly across the road from the Premier Inn where I was staying and it was late in the evening. I arrived around 7.30 pm and the restaurant was fairly empty with plenty of tables available, so I was surprised when I was told there would be a 45 minute to one hour wait for food. At that point I was tired and just wanted something to eat, so I agreed and was seated. I was given a table near the door, which kept opening, and the staff member who seated me did not seem very enthusiastic at all. It felt like she did not really enjoy her

Been here a few times in the past, but I returned recently for some lunch with some friends. We didn’t prebook, but they was able to accommodate. Plenty of parking space, which was for free. Was greeted and seated straight away and asked if I had any allergies. It was quite quiet in there at the time, but not dead. The value for money is really good, I ordered off the daytime value menu and managed to get a full main meal for only £5.99. Been here several times over the years never had any issues myself, Donna is lovely, very patient when I was given in our tables order there was about 10 of us in our group. Today was moderately busy but not overcrowded, so nice atmosphere, food came pretty quickly, we weren't waiting for hours.

Had the most amazing family meal on Friday, the restaurant was really busy but Hannah and Kieran had all the time in the world for us making sure our experience was perfect. Fabulous friendly service from the two of them, so knowledgeable about the food they were serving and had excellent suggestions. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family!
