Argyle on tour 😃‼️My 2nd pub in Wigan after taking 7hrs on the train. Nice pub underneath the main railway line and by the bridge. Nice ambiance with some good beers and session IPAs and getting busy as the locals grab a pint or two before going to watch Wigan. The cold pies didn’t look appetising so I had some biscuits and different cheeses and pickle. Have to say for £6.95 it was minimalistic and not good value. Nevertheless it was a happy friendly pub and had a good vibe and feel to it. It was still a good 25 minutes to the stadium but all was well as we beat them 3 - 0 ‼️😃And….we get to

I haven't seen food served here although I've seen it suggested on google. I've been here several times roughly between 3-8pm and it's been pleasantly busy with a good atmosphere. Live music on at times. Definitely worth a visit.

On a road trip to Scotland on the way back we stopped of in Wigan and after a little bit of shopping my wonderful wife indulged me in visiting the Central bar In Wigan. Recommend by a friend in Pembrokeshire i truly was not disappointed. Fantastic range of brilliant beers and the staff behind the bar were so informative and so friendly. Hope to go back very soon.

Station Bar is a Must visit for Cask Ale drinkers. The decor is inkeeping with it's name and railway traditions. Very clever/unusual but welcoming bar. Food snacks / light bites. Staff very obliging. Photos + videos give true picture. We'll be back soon and it's only 2mins from rail station under bridge on't left.🤗🍻🙌🤠
