Food here is solid holds up well compared to other local spots aiming for more authentic Chinese flavors. My favorite was definitely the clay pot rice. Overall it’s in the 7.5–8/10 range for taste. Comparable to other (more authentic) Chinese restaurants in the area. Service was pretty good. The soup dumplings are on the skinnier side, with a very thin wrapper and a bit less filling than I’d like, but for the price, it’s hard to complain—especially since we’re not in a major metro like New York City or Boston. All in all, a solid choice if you’re craving decent Chinese food in the area. I love

Without question, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. My friends and I came in expecting a nice dinner, but the entire night felt like a series of mistakes that nobody cared enough to correct. I give it a 7 out of 10 for authenticity however if you have shellfish or shrimp allergies you need to be very very careful. There are a lot of menu items especially with the dim sum that you would never expect have shrimp in them however they do. We were very careful to ask about everything we ordered and notified there was a shrimp allergy and we still got something with shrimp in it (sticky rice).

This place is a clean hole in the wall restaurant. The serving size is enough for two days of food. Maybe three. I did a to go order. I purchased the House Special Fried Rice. It was delicious. It is brown not yellow or orange. The real fried rice is brown! The spring roll is perfect. I also ordered the Chow Mei Fun. Which was also flavorful. I am glad I asked the Barbershop guy down the street which Chinese food restaurant was the best and her referred me here to Shining Rainbow. They wrap your food in a beautiful, clean wrapper.
