COZY CAFE We dined here for supper and had practically the whole restaurant to ourselves. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Booth we were seated in was comfy and great view of the dining room. Cauliflower appetizer was good, but under-seasoned and over-buttered. Kudos for cooking the cauliflowers perfectly Al dente and I would’ve loved to see more herby flavor shine through. Kid had the steak frites and it was more medium well than medium rare. This dish was more of a New Mexican poutine thingy IMO. I had the crispy sage chicken and found it also under-seasoned and drowning in butter

This is a wonderful place to visit with friends or family. They offer a wide variety of menu options, from classic breakfast dishes to the unique and flavorful New Mexican style, particularly their delicious green chili—truly delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and even had to take some home, as the portions are quite generous. Additionally, they provide excellent patio seating options.

My husband and I both got the Green Chile Chicken Sandwich, but I requested mine to be made with grilled chicken while he stuck with the menu and got fried. Mine was clearly the winner. I took a star away because they way over fried the chicken and what he got was a dry, burnt piece of meat that he had to smother in mayo to make edible. The green chile chicken stew was good, but the hands down best part of the meal was that Green Chile Cheddar Bun! I love a good bun and that one I’ll be thinking about all the way back to Texas!
