I recently visited Vero's Mexican Restaurant on Orange Grove in Pasadena with my husband and a friend while looking for a great breakfast/brunch spot. I hadn’t been here in about 10 years (back when I lived in Pasadena), so I was excited to come back and it did not disappoint. We started with their homemade chips and salsa, and they were absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin our meal. I ordered the chilaquiles with meat, and they were so delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. My husband and friend both got the carne asada burrito, and they couldn’t stop

This is an established small independent Mexican restaurant offering made to order foods. The service is attentive, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the Steak Picado, Mole Chicken Enchiladas, and the Green Chile Enchilada. Prices are friendly. We plan to return soon.

My hubby and I have been frequenting this restaurant for about a year now, and I can honestly say it’s the best Mexican restaurant around in Pasadena . The food is truly authentic, which is something we deeply appreciate. My go-to dishes are the chilaquiles plate or enchiladas and chile relleno, all of which are consistently delicious. The service is outstanding, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience!
