We recently visited Early Bird for brunch with my husband and daughter, and overall it was a really nice experience. The food itself was delicious! My husband ordered the Traveler’s Omelette and I had the chicken fried steak, and both dishes were full of flavor and very satisfying. I have dined in at Early Bird since their opening at the WDM location and always had great food. I’ve dined in a few times at the East Village location as well & it was always good. As I live in Ankeny, I’ve Doordashed from the Ankeny location a few times, and each time I’ve done so it’s been a major let down. I ordered the Quesabirria omelette which came with hash browns and toast. The omelette and hash browns both virtually had zero seasoning. The omelette was only half full of meat, leaving the other half with egg only. It didn’t come with cheese inside or onions on top like the description
