I love the Earle Restaurant. And while we no longer live in Michigan, whenever we come back for a visit with family and friends, I make sure we stop in for desert and a glass of wine. The crème brûlée never disappoints, and there is an excellent wine and drinks list. One of our daughters had the chocolate mousse--quite outstanding. So, sitting in the bar area later in the evening, having great conversation around desert and drinks, and listening to live music . . . well, it's just an overall wonderful experience.

Tucked in a cozy basement setting, this charming spot made for the most perfect birthday date night. From the moment we were seated, the warmth was undeniable. At our request, we were brought warm water without hesitation — a small but genuinely thoughtful touch. This place was shockingly bad. I used to come here a long time ago and it was top notch. The appetizers tasted like they were from Costco, not only was a steak, poor quality. It was cooked wrong. I mean there was no sear on it at all. I spent $700 for five people and I've never been as unsatisfied with a meal. My bet is the owners will will respond to this saying oh I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. Well, maybe you should have thought of that before you serve that poor quality. Everyone at my table, that did not get the salmon, I was disappointed and nobody liked appetizers. This

I cannot wait to come back to this restaurant. It was so elegant and high class. I celebrated my 40th birthday here with my sisters and the staff was amazing, The live jazz band and the appetizers that I forgot to take a picture of was beyond the word of delicious. I really enjoyed myself here and I’m definitely coming back.
