I came here for the first time today and had a pleasant experience. Our group was on the larger side but we were still seated quite fast. Our server was polite and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean. There is outside seating that's cozy as well. Our food didn't take too long to come out but mine was lukewarm. I cannot speak for other people in our group though. They were also out of the maple flavoring needed for a maple latte, but that wasn't a huge deal. Nice establishment but could use a little bit of improvement. The food was good, specially the chilaquiles. A good blend of everything and goes so good with chicken. My mom loves the lemon ricotta pancakes , she loves that it comes with a lot so she’s able to have leftovers. I think the improvement is just needed in the service, we’ve gone multiple times and it seems like the servers are almost overwhelmed / overworked? They provide good service when they can but can’t check up as much. We’re usually left with empty cups since no one comes by for a refill. Other than that lovely establishment.

We went in the middle of the afternoon on a rainy Tuesday, so the atmosphere was a lil drab. However, I'm sure it's FANTASTIC on the weekend and when the weather is better. Food and drinks were pretty good. Our waitress was very helpful with helping our food and drink selections. I would come back on the weekends, in better weather, to see the difference in the atmosphere.

Monica’s Riverview in Antioch is a great spot for breakfast. The river view makes the whole place feel calm and open, and the patio and indoor areas both have a warm, welcoming vibe. I ordered the Churro Waffle and it was delicious, light, and full of flavor. We also brought our Pomeranian with us, and the server was incredibly kind. She brought out a dog bowl without us even asking, which was a thoughtful touch. The service overall was friendly, attentive, and efficient.
