Nine Mile is definitely a hyped-up spot—maybe for some good reasons, but not entirely. Right off the bat, their website didn’t work, so I couldn’t check the menu or make a reservation. We ended up waiting about 20–25 minutes on a Monday, which was a bit surprising. On the positive side, the service was good—friendly and attentive. As for the food, I have mixed feelings. I’m not a big fan of coconut cream, so the sweetness it adds to many dishes just isn’t for me. So glad we decided to come to this restaurant. Came in from out of town and saw this on a random search and could not have chosen better. We got here about 5:30 and there was a 45 min wait for a party of 4, but we were seated immediately at the bar. We order the 3 dip appetizer with salsa, hummus, and queso which was phenomenal. We also ordered beers from them, which we didn’t know were also brewed in house. Entrees we all ordered something different and could not have gotten anything better! We went for an early dinner (5pm) and it was already full so that says everything. We ordered a light and refreshing beer, two Kingston 12 entrees and got the mango vinaigrette on our salads. The flavors were fresh and bursting. We finished our dinner with a slice of the chocolate cake, and we never get dessert out, but this dessert was well worth it. It was moist and creamy with a rich chocolate flavor followed by a slight kick from the pepper.

An interesting take on carribean food. I've had many different kind and this was delicious. Lots of flavor without being too over the top. Went for a date night and sat outside and it was a gorgeous day. Until it got chilly...lol I will definitely return and try more of their dishes.
