I saw the most horrific thing on this course. I honestly am horrified. My husband and I love this course because it's beautiful and fun to golf and local. But I will never ever go back. There was two babies and a mother deer out on the driving range and I went into the pro shop to ask them to send one of their boys out to shew them off the range and close to the range deck. Wonderful course, best conditions I’ve seen in years. The well equipped driving range, the training center all seem top notch. They even have ground robots mowing here and there. But that’s where the tech ends . I swear these are same carts I used 30 year’s ago. It made me flash back to riding the Utopia go carts at Disneyland when I was a kid. No GPS but they do plan to add them. It is the 21st century, new electric carts have solved the torque problems, noise and fume issues. I’ve played a lot of courses on the Central Coast, and Chalk Mountain Golf Course continues to stand out as one of the most fun and scenic places to practice and play.
