We had a disappointing experience at High Velocity and it seemed like an off night overall. When we first walked up, there was no one available to seat us, so we sat ourselves. Shortly after, the wait staff became aggravated and told us to move to another area, which ended up being another server’s section. That server was not polite and came across as rude. The food took a long time to arrive, and unfortunately it wasn’t good. I couldn’t finish my sandwich. The drinks are solid and they have plenty of TVs for whatever game might be on. The food is not much to brag about but hits the mark for hotel bar food. The kitchen also stays open late enough to cover some later arriving flights. Prices might be a bit higher than some places in the area, but aren't completely out of line. The staff is friendly and very helpful - which when you are traveling is always a pleasant bonus. I ended up visiting this bar half the evenings I was in town so clearly it is good enough for repeat visits if you are traveling. Enjoy!

A real screamer. One of the worst dining experiences I have had. Putting aside the price, the shrimp scampi was a soup more than it was a pasta dish. The shrimp were left tail-on as well which made it a hands-on soup experience. Not something that I can say I'd ever want to indulge in again. The burger was mostly flavorless and did not have thin enough patties to be considered a smashburger. It felt more like a case of let's call this a smash burger so we don't have to worry about our cook times! This place was very convenient to our hotel. What made it so great was our waitress. Key, her suggestions, her smile and service were top of the line. The salad was great. The cauliflower wings were okay. I didn't like all the breading. For some reason, I was expecting a house made, but they looked and tasted, prepacked . Key suggested a new sparkling water, and now I'm hooked. My friend had the same salad with an impossible burger added. There are not too many vegan/plantbased options, but it's still a good place..
