Found a clothing rag tag in my partners food. They found out it was from one of the cleaning rags used in the kitchen. The waitress down played our concerns and still charged us for our food. My partner and I could no longer eat the rest of our food feeling uncomfortable. I had wanted to take a picture of the cotton tag, but they quickly discarded it. I’m very disappointed as I had liked eating here before. (Photo was before we found the tag in the steak, I wish I had taken the photo of the tag)

Food was excellent. Service was great, almost the entire waitressing staff greeted us as we walked in, they kept coming around checking on us and asking if we needed refill of coffee and soda. It was so good. I left so happy.

I went with the seafood omelette because everyone kept recommending it, and honestly it lived up to the hype. It came packed with seafood and was cooked perfectly — fluffy eggs, plenty of filling, and really good flavor. Nothing skimpy about it. I also got a side of cottage potatoes and toast, which ended up being the perfect combo. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside, the kind you keep picking at even when you're already full. The toast was simple but fresh and buttery, which somehow just ties the whole breakfast together. The portion size was generous too, definitely one

Nice diner in downtown Bakersfield open for breakfast and lunch (6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) The food is good and a good variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, salads and burgers with large portions. They are limited in their kids menu and seniors menu as they only have a few items that are categorized as both for seniors and kids on the menu. They also do specials and have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good and friendly and the interior was clean but can be noisy. Patio dining is nice and well shaded to keep cool during hot summer afternoons.
